Calgary’s Future Culture & Entertainment District
Join Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC), the master developer of East Village and master planners for east Victoria Park, and The City of Calgary for an insider’s look at Calgary’s future Culture & Entertainment District and an opportunity to share your feedback on the plan and future development in the area. CMLC is advancing a 20-year redevelopment program for east Victoria Park. A vision that imagines the community as a vibrant, high-density, mixed-use neighbourhood that draws on the beauty of its natural surroundings, the strength of its cultural heritage and the spirit of entertainment that resides in its DNA. As this community is Calgary’s Entertainment and Cultural District, CMLC’s vision imagines that it will one day be home to some 8000 residents and over 4 million square feet of new development.
Now we want to hear from you!
CMLC and The City of Calgary, have embarked on a joint public engagement program soliciting feedback from Calgarians across the city to inform the final master plan. This event is tailored specifically for those in Calgary’s vibrant arts and culture community and will include a presentation from CMLC’s master plan team and The City of Calgary along with a light lunch and refreshments.

Location: CMLC Offices, St. Louis Hotel (Main Floor, 430 8th Ave. SE)
Parking is available on street. Please note there is construction along 8th Ave. SE in front of the St. Louis Hotel but access to the building is marked with signage.
