Participants in the after school art program will be offered exciting and fun art instruction employing a broad range of techniques and mediums. Artists will be given a chance to build their knowledge of the foundations of art, art history, and technical art-making skills in mediums such as painting, felting, and ceramics. Over the course of twelve classes, participants will receive age-appropriate art education in a fun and encouraging environment. Young artists with disabilities are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate in this mixed abilities class. All materials will be provided. Please note that the classes will run Tuesdays, April 30 to June 11, 2019. There will be no breaks. Cost: $105 Ages: Youth between six and 12 years of age Days: Tuesdays, 3:45 – 5:15pm The first session begins on April 30, 2019, the last session ends June 11, 2019.
