Digital Production and Visual Design Assistant

The deadline for this opportunity has passed.

Springboard Performance is hiring a student digital production and visual design assistant to join our team!

Springboard Performance is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1988 that is devoted to connecting artists and audiences, bodies and minds through physical performance-based contemporary creation and public space interventions.

We provide opportunities for artists to risk, learn, create, perform and connect with local and national communities. Springboard produces the Fluid Movement Festival, Interrarium Creation residency; a Signature Dance Series, interdisciplinary works for stage and screen; and we develop, oversee and program containR, a creative placemaking arts hub for events, outdoor arts and culture happenings.

Springboard Performance bridges disciplines with clustered festival programming, creative residencies, performances, large-scale touring projects, site-specific installations and more. We build opportunities for all Calgarians to live a creative life through employment opportunities, institutional partnerships, training, internships, and mentorship.

Springboard champions the exploration of physical contemporary practices with the aim of fostering deep understandings of art and ideas; we support an aesthetic risk-taking that challenges both artists and audiences with new ways of seeing, representing and responding to contemporary life. Springboard was recently awarded a CCVO Innovation Award from the Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations, for disruptive, adaptive, and innovative programming.
