Discovering Flamenco Singing and Song

The deadline for this opportunity has passed.

Interested in Flamenco singing? Historically the first thing that appears was the singing, then the baile, then the guitar. Back in the day, people in Andalusia used to sing in order to process their daily sorrow or happiness. For more information, here is a Wikipedia description.

This 2020, I am offering 10 lessons to help you develop your understanding of compas (beat) voice placement and the different Flamenco styles that you can do with dance and without it.

We will study history, styles, compas, palmas and palmas remates, voice work, and placement, Flamenco singing details and develop pieces to be sung for dancers or without them.
