Selection criteria are based on suitability to the theme, artist’s technique, elicited emotional response, creativity and innovation, and suitability for the Pumphouse Theatre art gallery space and its patrons (ages eight to 80 representing various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds)

For the IGNITE! 2019 official art piece, work will be considered around the goals of professional artistic development and providing a new opportunity to an emerging artist, as well as representing the experimental tone of the festival itself.
