Blend Vocal Association seeks new members to join for our fall season. We are a 14 voice female choir, performing four-part arrangements of many genres from folk to jazz to rock to contemporary. We’re auditioning for soprano 1, alto 1, and alto 2 voices at this time. The ability to read music is a requirement, and we memorize our repertoire for performance. Solo opportunities are numerous if you’ve got the right stuff! We rehearse at the Calgary Girls’ School in Lakeview on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Choir fees are $250 per term. To arrange an audition, please fill out the form under the audition tab by visiting blendvocal.com. Auditions will be held Thursday, July 4, 2019, from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the Calgary Girls’ School, and will require a prepared solo piece, either performed a capella or with your own recorded backup.
