Festivals and Events 101 Session
Please join us to learn more about City services and legislated requirements for hosting festivals and events in Calgary. This session will be a great opportunity to meet with your City of Calgary Event Liaison, network with other event organizers, share information and speak to experts in the field.
The session is free to anyone who is involved with organizing both large and small-scale events, festivals, walks or runs in Calgary.
Date: March 26, 2020, 6:00 – 8:00pm
Location: Historic Holy Angels Civic Building (2105 Cliff St. SW)
The session will include:
- 6:00pm Welcome
- 6:05pm Waste & Recycling: Suggestions for your event’s waste and recycling strategy
- 6:30pm Calgary Parks: Building your event’s power plan
- 7:30pm City of Calgary: Coronavirus and potential impacts to your event
- 7:55pm Wrap-up
Throughout the evening there will be time for Q&A, so you will have the opportunity to ask questions specifically about your event.
