Four Summer Coordinator Positions

Calgary Pride is hiring for four, temporary and full-time summer positions. These roles include parade logistics coordinator, festival & entertainment coordinator, communications coordinator and volunteer coordinator.

Each role would start in late May and conclude by mid-September. The role requires 37.5 hours per week, at $24 per hour. The work environment is hybrid, with more in-person work required in the weeks leading up to Calgary Pride Week, August 25 – September 4, 2023.

This role is supported by Canada Summer Jobs, so the applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment. They must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. They must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible participants. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
