Educational Opportunities July 10, 2023 Grant Writing Workshop Carol Beecher is back and ready to help with all of your grant-writing needs! The next run of this workshop has just launched and it’s on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 1 – 4pm. Once again, this workshop is online, allowing you to not worry about having to get to a certain location – as long as you have the internet (and Zoom) you’re set! Carol has been on the jury for grants in general and has been around the grant-block for a while, so though this is more aligning with AFA’s Individual Film and Video Project grant, she can easily answer questions and adjust materials to help with other grants such as Canada Council. Anything and everything as long as it’s in the arts can be talked about and discussed! Furthermore, since Quickdraw’s job is to help you make films, it’s a great chance to discuss budgets for things like studio space and equipment – stuff that Quickdraw offers!
