Signatures Shows is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated artisan recruitment manager for our team. Signatures is Canada’s largest and most experienced producer of fine craft shows and handmade markets: producing, promoting and managing 17 events each year in 13 cities across Canada.

Signatures Shows Ltd. is Canada’s largest and most experienced producer of fine craft shows. Founded in 1980 by two artisans, we now produce, promote and manage 17 events each year in 13 cities across the country.
Position Summary
We are seeking an outgoing and driven individual to join our team as an exhibitor recruitment specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting makers and artisans, travelling to shows to meet artisans in person, recruiting previous and new exhibitors, and creating partnerships with art colleges, art universities and craft councils to recruit new artisans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting and recruiting makers and artisans for our shows.
- Travelling to shows to meet with artisans in person.
- Recruiting previous and new exhibitors.
- Creating partnerships with art colleges, art universities and craft councils to recruit new artisans.
Qualifications:
- Art or artisan background an asset
- Experience in events preferred
- Must be willing to travel
- Outgoing and driven person
- Sales experience is an asset
- Comfortable making telephone sales calls
- Must have a current, valid Driver’s Licence
- Social media savvy
- Open to non-traditional work hours
- Proficient with Mac computers and Office 365
- Fluency in both official languages is an asset
Pay: We are offering a base pay + commission on sales.
