Archived May 22, 2018 History Mystery Dear Calgarians, We’re posting to inform you of a mysterious happening at 707 13th Ave. SW. One of our staff arrived in the early hours of the day to open the Lougheed House to visitors only to find the most curious situation waiting. A large and preposterously heavy safe had been—rather than stolen—relocated into a place of prominence in the house. To our added befuddlement, the safe had placed upon it a cryptic message indicating that the house itself has something to reveal. Try as we may, we cannot discover what the house is trying to tell us. It seems there is some pattern to it, but we are at a complete loss to any solution. We extend an offer to any Calgarian with the wits to solve this mystery: Visit the museum to decode the message. Open the safe on our premises. Be entered into a draw to win its contents. Help us unlock the value of Lougheed House! Regular Admission Applies: Adults $8.50 Open Wednesday – Friday 11:00am – 4:00pm Saturday – Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm For more information visit lougheedhouse.com or call 403.244.6333. Puzzle ends June 3, 2018.
