Introduction to Commercial Auditions

Self Tapes

Location: Online event
Date: Monday, November 29, 2021
Time: 6:30 – 9:00pm MT
Price: $117.71

This introductory class is aimed at non-union actors who are trying to turn in their best commercial auditions. The quality of your self tape can determine whether a director watches your performance or skips over it as they look at someone else.

We will cover technical elements like audio, lighting, and camera set up as well as the more creative elements such as wardrobe and improvisation that can make a huge difference for your intended audience.

Class will begin with a ZOOM lecture and Q&A, then an assigned commercial audition to be self taped by participants and will finish with a follow up ZOOM call in a small group with feedback from instructors.

Approx 4+ hours of instruction.
