What will you do?

  • Operate Lasting machines, using Good Year & other methods.
  • Ensures quality control standards are met in his / her operations and output.
  • Follows specifications and product standards, in adherence with expected quality.
  • Adjusts machine settings as required and executes daily machine maintenance.
  • Always maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Recommends improvements to specs, and provides feedback on materials where appropriate.
  • Participates in a strong quality first culture.
  • Works in a safe manner in line with company standards.

What will you Need?

  • Strong experience in premium footwear, leather upper lasting.
  • Good understanding of leathers, properties, grains, and risks of lasting.
  • Strong understanding of lasting machines, their settings, and use techniques.
  • Communicator.
  • Positive team attitude.
  • Experience supervising footwear manufacturing lines, ideally leather.
