Archived November 13, 2018 Legacy Voice Workshop With Dawn McCaugherty and Diane Roberts Dates: December 7 – 9, 2018 Times: Friday, 5:00 – 9:00pm, Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am – 5:00pm Location: cSPACE King Edward (1721 29th Ave. SW) What are the legacies we carry and what do we leave behind? How does one’s personal legacy act as a bridge between past, present and future? Drawing on blood memory as a source of inspiration while exploring a wide range of tools, you will deepen your understanding of your unique breath and ‘core’ voice, awareness of your vocal and rhythmic potential, and ability to be present in relationship to your unique cultural mind-body voice and spirit. Facilitated by Diane Roberts, and Dawn McCaugherty, this workshop explores how we might bring voice to our shared and diverse histories and our present future.
