Moving with Mental Health

The Alberta Dance Alliance (ADA) recognizes the challenging times dance, in all of its dimensions, has faced since the start of COVID-19 and the economic difficulties in Alberta. We are hosting a session on Moving with Mental Health with a panel of special guests to share their knowledge and answer questions regarding mental wellness during this challenging time.

Over the past year, our dance community has encountered shifts, shutdowns, pivots, opportunities, and losses. With these changes, and an uncertain future for many artists and businesses, mental health and well-being are at the forefront of our conversations.

Open to all Alberta dancers and educators!

Join us on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 9:00am MST via Zoom for Moving with Mental Health.

Mental skills educator, Lauren Ritchie, will facilitate an interactive discussion and Q&A session with renowned dance councillors, Terry Hyde (MA, MBACP) and Natalka Lewis (MA Counselling Psychology, BA Dance).
