Muralist Wanted
I am the clinical leader in recreation therapy working in Tertiary Neurorehabilitation at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. I am currently seeking an opportunity to have someone come and volunteer to paint a mural on our wall in our treatment room. This space is used by countless individuals undergoing rehabilitation after a stroke, brain or spinal cord injury. It is a space that is supposed to represent joy, progression and forward momentum.
Within the recreation therapy department, our focus is to return individuals back to their previous leisure pursuits prior to their injuries or introduce them to the power or leisure after experiencing illness.
Please note that items in the image attached can be removed from wall (tv, corkboards, etc.) to assist with space for mural.
Dates: Flexible, possibly in the new year.
