JazzYYC Seeks Board Members

JazzYYC supports a vibrant year-round jazz scene in Calgary and has rapidly become a national leader with our innovative presentation approaches, support to local musicians, educational programs and daily listings. See what we’re up to at jazzyyc.com.
JazzYYC is recruiting new board members for 2023/24. Jazz is for everyone and all applicants will be considered regardless of age, experience, race, religion, sexuality, gender or disability. We encourage members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community to apply.
We need jazz lovers who can support the business side of our work in these specific areas:
- Gala and special events
- Governance and legal
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Human Resources (staff, volunteers, members TLC)
- IT
Please submit your application by November 13, 2022. We will interview in late November and make our recommendations to the board in December. The new terms begin in January 2023.
If you want to get involved but aren’t quite ready for the board, please join a committee. Many hands make light work – and we have a lot of work to do! Whatever your interest, we have a place to put your talents and energy to good use.
