Figure Drawing Sundays

New Motion Gallery (2001b 10th Ave. SW) hosts live model figure drawing by drop-in every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
Please bring your own materials: Compressed charcoal, pencil, eraser, and at least five sheets of large paper. We recommend newsprint paper which is available at all art supplies stores.
The cost is only $10 per session. We accept cash, debit or credit. We also have a loyalty program where you come to four sessions and your fifth one is free!
Our goal is to not only help artists develop their skills, but promote body positivity and confidence by utilizing people with no prior modelling experience, but want to try something to step out of their comfort zone.
Sometimes our figure drawing sessions are themed, including superheroes, pirates, fairies, steampunk, and more. And other times it’s more traditional nude form. Either way, we are a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to be an expert, just have fun! If you’re new to figure drawing, we have coaches on-site at every session to help you one-on-one to get you going.
