We are pleased to announce the start of Espressa, our long-awaited adult women’s choir this October! Directed by Elaine Quilichini, Espressa is open to all women interested in creating beautiful music together. Vocal training Music reading Diverse choral repertoire Virtual choir performances A welcoming community of women dedicated to learning and creative expression. For our 25th anniversary season (2020/21), we will be following an online learning format until it becomes feasible to meet in person. Singers will participate in vocal coaching, diction, language, and theory learning during online rehearsals as well as be provided with supplementary aural, written, and video materials and assignments to do at home. Additional learning opportunities with guest conductors, clinicians, and other specialists will be offered. Espressa online rehearsals will occur on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:00pm. No auditions are required, although you may be invited to attend a vocal placement meeting with Ms. Quilichini to determine part (alto/soprano). Rehearsals start October 13, 2020.
