N!GHT L!GHT
N!GHT L!GHT is a light/art festival that will be transforming Victoria Park for three days from September 28 – 30, 2023.
Led by a production team from B!G ART, Social Studies Lab, and the Victoria Park BIA, N!GHT L!GHT is being built to showcase our local talent and unapologetically show off what we can do.
Night Light is a three-night celebration of curated light, art and performance that will transform multiple venues and public spaces throughout Victoria Park. Featuring projection-mapped architecture, light-art installations, music and other art forms, N!GHT L!GHT will grow a culture of supporting the next generation of local artists. The inaugural edition is focused on building a platform and runway for artists of all skill levels to showcase their creative works.
Submissions are due by Wednesday, June 14, 2023, 5pm

Submission Assessment
Works will be assessed by the N!GHT L!GHT creative team based on the following criteria:
- Does it have light and inspire our imaginations?
- Will it engage and inspire festival-goers?
- Does it make great use of a public space or feature in Victoria Park?
- Is it feasible in the budget and timelines presented?
- Are you well-resourced for a 3-day event with additional days of set-up and teardown?
- Durability and sustainability of the work, including its ability to withstand large audiences and bad weather (rain, high winds, etc.).
