Archived February 7, 2022 One2One Grant Writing Support In early 2021 AMAAS hired Peter Hemminger to research the grant funding success rate of Alberta media artists (read an excerpt here and the full report on our website amaas.ca). An outcome of this research is the One2One Grant Writing Support project which entails pairing up experienced grant writers (mentoring grant writers) with individual media artists who are working on municipal, provincial, and or federal grant applications. The mentoring grant writer will share expertise and provide feedback to answer questions on logistical, budgetary, and any conceptual challenges. Each artist will receive six to seven hours of mentoring from the grant writer assigned to them. Grant writers will be compensated with an honorarium. Apply as a mentor or mentee by February 22, 2022, at 11:59pm MT. For more information and the two different application forms, visit amaas.ca. If you have any questions, email Sophia at projects@amaas.ca.
