Part-Time Private Piano Teachers
(Contemporary & Classical)
Teaching Options: In-studio, online or virtual, and in-home
Our team is growing! Music & Play is accepting applications for part-time private contemporary and classical piano teachers for our 2020/21 season. Our regular season begins in September 2020, however, some summer teaching may be available.
If you have high standards for music and arts education, love to inspire students and would like to help build great people as part of one of Calgary’s leading music schools we want to hear from you.
Private Piano applicants must have:
- Minimum Grade 9 RCM or CC (Grade 10 and/or related degree preferred).
- Previous teaching experience with all ages of students.
- Knowledge and previous application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum for private lessons.
- For Contemporary Teachers: Experience teaching CC’s Contemporary Idioms curriculum or using lead sheets, modes, and improvising is highly-desirable.
Successful applicants will be friendly and outgoing, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and possesses a reliable way of getting to the studio.
