RFPs November 23, 2022 Public Art Interior City Hall Red Deer 2D Artworks with AR (Augmented Reality) Component Request for Qualifications, Call for Artists Portfolios and Expression of Interest Public Art Interior City Hall Red Deer, Alberta: 2D Artworks with AR (augmented reality) Component In response to the newly renovated interior of city hall, the project team seeks an artwork that expresses innovation while evoking ecological concepts through a creative portrayal of natural habitats of the region. This artwork will be a fusion of nature and technology; new media art (augmented reality) and traditional art forms (photography, 2D digital prints, painting or other), thus inspiring interaction, learning and reflection for the public that visits city hall. Canadian-based artists (including artist teams) are invited to submit their portfolios and statement of interest to the first stage of a two-stage competition for a public artwork to be installed in City Hall, 4914 48th Avenue, Red Deer.
