RWB School Auditions

Each year, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School visits 14 to 18 cities across Canada and the United States in search of talented dancers to join two of our full-time Professional Division programs: the Ballet Academic, and The Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Programs. Virtual auditions are also offered.

Students identified as having potential for professional training are invited to attend Summer Session, which acts as the second phase of the audition process.

Pre-Registration cut-off date is Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 9am.

Times:

  • 10am – 10:45am: Students currently in academic grades 5–7 auditions
  • 10:45am – 11:00am: Break
  • 11am – 11:30am: Q & A
  • 11:30am – 11:45am: Break
  • 11:45am – 13:00: Master Class academic grades 5–8
  • 11:45am – 13:00: Master Class academic grades 9–12 and post-secondary
  • 13 – 13:15: Break
  • 13:15 – 14:15: Students currently in academic grades 8–12 and post-secondary auditions
