Sculpting with a Live Model

2 Day Guest Workshop

In this workshop, you will sculpt from a slab of clay of 14 x 8 x 2 inches. You only need to bring your desire to turn 12 to 14 pounds of clay into a wall-mounted work of art. Whether you wish to explore clay as a new medium or deepen your knowledge of human anatomy, this is a great opportunity to learn to sculpt with a live model.

Professional sculptor Joël A. Prévost teaches the techniques and use of tools necessary to sculpt a wall-mounted sculpture, taking you through the process step by step by adding, subtracting and polishing.

This workshop is perfect for people who are interested in life drawing, figurative painting, wood sculpture or ceramics. Supplies are on the premises, firing is included in the course.
