Auditions January 19, 2023 Seeking Six Wise and Witty Women We are seeking six real people who are not professional actors and are women (cis or trans), non-binary or drag queens with a zest for life and a big personality, to appear in promotional videos for a TV series about multiple generations of creative Canadians which will be filmed in Southern Alberta later this year. Filming of the promotional videos will take place at the Simba Creative studio in Calgary during the week of January 23 to 27, 2023. If chosen, you will be paid $200 for a maximum of two hours of your time. For these videos we want people with white, grey, silver or black hair (naturally or with a wig). We welcome applications from people of any race, body type and ability. How to Apply Record a video of yourself in a well-lit indoor room using a cellphone camera. Looking into the camera, state your name, age, and why you consider yourself to be a creative person. Your video should be no longer than 60 seconds and show us your personality and zest for life. In an accompanying email, please include your contact information and note any days or times you aren’t available for filming during the week of January 23, 2023.
