For more information or to apply to sell your work through UppstArt, visit uppstart.ca. We charge a 20% commission when artwork sells. This is the only fee. There are no listing fees and UppstArt is non-exclusive. Artists retain all art pieces and send digital images for inclusion to the site. Artists are responsible for shipping to purchasers. About UppstArt Adappcity Inc. is a Calgary-based social blockchain company. In early 2018, we launched the prototype version of UppstArt, an online marketplace where original artwork is purchased directly from artists and can be re-sold at any time for a low commission, a portion of which is paid directly to the original artist. Every time a work of art is purchased on UppstArt, its provenance information, price and an image of the work are securely and immutably recorded on the blockchain. UppstArt is currently in its prototype phase, but site improvements and new artists are being added every day.
