Archived August 17, 2021 SHINE Ensemble Auditions SHINE is casting for vibrant and energetic performers to join SHINE for the upcoming 2021/22 performance season! Male and Female singers of all voice parts are encouraged to audition. SHINE is a small auditioned ensemble of singers who are committed to a heavier performance load. The season runs from September to August and they perform at a variety of events year-round in Calgary and surrounding areas in Alberta. Interested performers who have graduated from high school are invited to submit an online-video audition to shine@youthsingers.org. Please prepare a vocal piece of any song selection that best demonstrates your abilities and fit for SHINE. *Note: Can request to arrange an in-person audition if preferred* This open-call audition is for both male and female performers of all voice parts: previous performing experience, the ability to read music, and prior dance training are all preferred assets to SHINE.
