The Sled Island Music & Arts Festival is seeking volunteers interested in adding their experience and perspective to our sponsorship committee.

The sponsorship committee has been created to provide advice for Sled Island staff on matters relating to enhancing revenue from sponsorship, and to support our achievement of sponsorship revenue targets.

As a sponsorship committee member, you will attend four to six meetings throughout the year and should expect a total time commitment of 10 to 15 hours over the year. Additional commitment may be required during the festival to support the staff.

Previous volunteer experience on a board or committee is highly valued. Additional skills of interest include the ability to develop strategic partnerships and build consensus. A passion for music and music festivals, Sled Island’s unique programming, making Calgary awesome and a commitment to the role of governance is essential.
