How your voice works and how to use it to your advantage!

This course is an introduction to the nature of voice production and articulation. The emphasis will be on freeing the natural voice as it pertains to performance and presentation.

It is an eight-week exploration into how to use your voice.

Over the course, you will:

  • Learn how and why we do certain voice exercises as well as stretches we use to open the body to supported breath and sound.
  • Gain a better understanding of the progression through warming up your voice.
  • Work practically with text, to make the transition from the “warm-up” to the application in rehearsal and performance.

Dates: May 2 – June 20, 2018, eight sessions
Class runs Wednesday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00pm
Cost: $250 + GST
