Stage It Program Applications

Stage It is focused on emerging theatre artists who want to develop themselves as creator-producers. Downstage will select two creator-producer duos. This season, Downstage is looking for pieces that use humour to investigate the topic at hand.
Creator-producer duos will choose a producing project for Stage It and will receive developmental mentorship from Downstage staff. Producing projects will be showcased at Stage It Festival, May 11-14, 2023 at Motel Theatre, Arts Commons!
Stage It runs from September 2022 to June 2023.
There is no fee to participate in this program and each creator-producer duo will receive an honorarium of $2,000.

- Interviews: June 27 & 28, 2022
- Program begins: September 2022
