Mentorship Opportunities June 3, 2022 Stage It Program Applications Downstage is now accepting applications for our 2022/23 Stage It program! Are you an emerging creator-producer? If so, check out our Stage It program application information. For more information and to apply visit downstage.ca. Stage It is focused on emerging theatre artists who want to develop themselves as creator-producers. Downstage will select two creator-producer duos. This season, Downstage is looking for pieces that use humour to investigate the topic at hand. Creator-producer duos will choose a producing project for Stage It and will receive developmental mentorship from Downstage staff. Producing projects will be showcased at Stage It Festival, May 11-14, 2023 at Motel Theatre, Arts Commons! Stage It runs from September 2022 to June 2023. There is no fee to participate in this program and each creator-producer duo will receive an honorarium of $2,000.
