We’re looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill the role of studio assistant at Field Kit, a Calgary-based candle company. This position will involve candle production, shipping fulfillment, and candle workshop set-up.

In this role, you’ll work out of our downtown Calgary studio, where all Field Kit goods are made. The space is filled with natural light and has a beautiful view of the downtown. It also smells pretty nice!

Field Kit was founded out of a love of art and science. We blend unique, storied fragrances that are showcased in sustainable vessels, designed to be reused. Our ideal candidate for Studio Assistant appreciates our brand values of simplicity, timelessness, craftsmanship, and warmth.

Responsibilities

• Operating wax melting equipment
• Preparing vessels and molds for pouring
• Pouring container and pillar candles
• Packaging candles
• Fulfilling wholesale and e-commerce orders
• Keeping stock organized and easily accessible
• Monitoring inventory levels
• Setting up studio space for evening workshops

Salary

Salary negotiable (based on experience) $30,000 – $35,000 with one week paid training period. This position will begin with a three month trial period.
