Exposure 2022
The Exposure Photography Festival 2022 submissions of interest are now open. This initiative is intended to help local creatives and spaces get involved with the festival.
Last year, the submissions of interest initiative enabled more local creatives and spaces to be actively involved in the festival program.
Four Exposure 2021 exhibitions were hosted in Calgary as a result of connections and conversations made possible through submissions of interest. For Exposure 2022, we will again support creatives in finding suitable venues for their exhibitions and we will support spaces by teaming them up with photographers who can show work in an existing venue.
How it Works
- Before August 1, 2021: Submit a submission of interest form (no fee required) and receive a confirmation email to say that Exposure has received your form.
- August 1, 2021: Deadline for photographers/artists/collectives and local business/arts space/venue to submit their interest.
- Before September 1, 2021: All photographers/artists/collectives receive an email from Exposure which shares details on available venues and arts spaces in Alberta.
- Before October 5, 2021: Exhibition partners who wish to collaborate must work out the details of their exhibition (such as dates, description etc.) and submit an exhibition registration.
- October 5, 2021: Deadline for exhibition partners to register their exhibition for the 2022 Exposure Photography festival.
