Threading Solidarity: Chat & Chew

The anti-colonial struggle for P@lestinian Liberation and LandBack

Join the Cultural Instigators for Threading Solidarity: anti-colonial struggle for P@lestinian Liberation & LandBack.

Nearly two million people in Gaza are still being starved, displaced, violently bombed, brutalized, mutilated and massacred by a US-backed settler colonial ethnostate. As we bear witness to a 100-year genocide escalate on our digital screens, here is an invitation to open ourselves up to be in community and find ways to collectively take action.

You’ll hear from our special guest Lara Elborno, a Palestinian-American international lawyer, human rights activist and speaker, and Palestinian poet in diaspora, Tariq Luthun. Our aim for this discussion is to hold space for the unconscionable violence happening in P@lestine, to increase our collective understanding of Palestinian liberation as an anti-colonial struggle, and to discuss its interconnectedness with the liberation of others. There will be an opportunity to share resources, discuss allyship and imagine actions to take. We will be guided with a prayer, led by Elder Marina Crane.

Join us online on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 6pm MT. ASL interpretation is provided for this event.

Please register to receive the Zoom link. Due to security we will be sending the link 30 minutes before the event.
