USS Artemis, a binaural radio play, written by Ali DeRegt and Camille Pavlenko, and directed by Kathryn Smith. Engagement Company & Outside Dates Location: boathaus studios (Calgary) Workshop: October 18 – 21, 2021 Recording Dates: December 6 – 18, 2021 Production Description USS Artemis is an immersive audio sci-fi mystery that puts the audience into the shoes of the main character, Captain Lee. Meant to be a solo listening experience, this binaural radio play is set on the Artemis, an old-model starship, as it returns from a failed rescue mission in a remote outpost in the Circinus Galaxy. What We’re Looking For You have an interest in any combination of sound design, engineering, editing, producing, voice-over direction, and/or writing for audio. You are either an early career artist or a more experienced artist with a passion to learn more about an alternative type of theatre You are excited by this project!
