Educational Opportunities September 9, 2021 Still-life Painting Class Duration: Eight weeks Dates: Wednesday, September 29 – November 17, 2021 Times: 6:00 – 9:00pm Location: Studio Vazquez-Mackay (Suite 100, 441 5th Ave. SW) This class will offer painters the opportunity to examine various characteristics of creating a successful painting while working within a long tradition. The consistent subject matter will allow the class to take a deeper look into how characteristics like texture, composition, and colour can improve your work. At the same time, still-life will allow for concept and narrative explorations. Students may work with acrylic or oil paints. Solvents are prohibited in the studio.
