Volunteers Needed
Sage Theatre is participating in Elbow River Casino on June 16 & 17, 2023 and looking for volunteers for different shifts in different roles.
Please note : Volunteers are limited to one role at a time. Volunteers who are working in a role cannot act in another role the next day.
All volunteers need to be aware of the following:
- Check in the volunteer lounge to receive a name tag.
- It’s very important that you arrive on time.
- Volunteers are not permitted to play (gamble) at the tables or the slot machines during the 2 days.
- The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited before/during shift.
- Dress is casual, ripped or torn clothing is not acceptable.
- The name tags supplied need to be worn at all times.
Volunteers are needed for the following positions
Cashier
Role responsibility:
- Redeems player’s chips for cash.
- Minimal amount of computer input is required, cash handling experience is required.
Chip Runner
Role responsibility:
- A courier (runner) for chip orders.
- Participates in the opening and closing of games.
- Minimal computer input is needed.
Count Room Supervisor
Role responsibility:
- Needs to have computer literacy, inputs the count from each drop box.
Count Room Staff
Role responsibility:
- Open and sorts cash from drop boxes.
- One is required to input count from each drop box in computer.
- Runs cash through money machines, amalgamates each drop box.
