Website Designer

ACTA Press, a Canadian scientific and technical publishing company, is looking to hire an individual contractually part-time/full-time to work on our website redesign. The individual will be responsible for the front-end development of our website and will be a part of our team until the end of this project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with a back-end website developer
  • Research website designs of other publishing companies
  • Compiling current trends in website designs
  • Designing graphics and art for our website
  • Determining best set-up for new design of website

What you bring:

  • Thorough understanding of current trends in website graphics and design
  • Previous experience in graphics, web design, and art
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to complete work by set deadlines
