We are looking for unique and expressive works of art that explores how human’s occupation of the earth has impacted the environment of our planet.

Guidelines & Terms for Entry

Eligibility: International
Entry Fee: $20 CDN (non-refundable) for the first 3 works. $5 for every additional image. Sculptural pieces, 3 slides per image (max.). Please include a short description of the artwork.

Signed and dated entry form. Add additional lines for extra images.

Send images as JPG or PDF, no larger than 1024 pixels on the longest side and at 72DPI.

Payments are to be sent as an etransfer to knoxgalleryofart@gmail.com.

Accepted Media: Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fibre, mixed media digital, and prints.
Maximum Size of Artwork: 6ft. x 10ft.

Sale prices determined by the artist. All prices must include any applicable taxes.

The Knox Contemporary Gallery of Art will retain a 35% commission on any sales.

All the work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. Unsold works will be returned after the exhibition at the artist’s expense.

All artwork must be wired ready for hanging. No sawtooth hangers. Plexiglass must be used on any framed works unless hand-delivered artwork.

The gallery reserves the right not to exhibit any artwork that differs significantly from the image submitted or is not prepared properly for hanging/exhibiting.

Artists are responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs of their artwork to and from the gallery. All artwork shipped must be sent in reusable crates or cartons and must include prepaid return shipping label. Works without proper labels or reusable crates or cartons will not be returned. Artwork must not be packed with styrofoam or plastic peanuts or any other loose packing materials. Any artwork that is packed with peanuts will be resealed immediately and not exhibited.

The gallery will not accept shipments that require payments for GST or Canada Customs duty. Please check with an art broker or Canada Customs to advise for proper documentation for artwork from all out of country entrants.

Artists are responsible to ensure that their artwork is insured to and from the gallery and while at the gallery. The gallery will take every effort and precautions to handle the work in a safe manner but will not be held responsible for any damages however caused.

By signing the entry form the artist agrees to the terms of guidelines.
