The Alberta International Band Festivals in Edmonton and Calgary are operated by a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a performance platform for outstanding junior high, high school, and community bands.

The underlying theme for our festivals is that we provide a platform where young people will gather, play, learn from each other, and learn from world-class professional musicians and music educators.

We provide elite slates of concert band and jazz band adjudicators who share their expertise and musicianship with all participants of the festivals. Each year a dedicated group of volunteers provides thousands of hours of work to see this event thrive.
