As a self taught metal smith artist, Barb creates unique sterling silver art jewellery pieces. Practicing traditional and unconventional metal smithing techniques she fabricates, solders and fuses the metal allowing organic shapes to form. By incorporating a variety of hinges, prongs, hollow forms and water castings the pieces emerge from the work bench organic in shape and feel. Inspiration comes from deep love and connection she finds in nature, animals and the beauty found in all of us.
