Bow Valley Music Club
The Bow Valley Music Club is a non-profit society with the primary objective to provide an opportunity for the Calgary area and surrounding communities to attend an annual series of 10 quality, live musical concerts, in a friendly participatory environment, together with related cultural, intellectual, and social activities.
We offer musicians the opportunity to perform before an appreciative audience, who listen!
We celebrated our 25th year in 2017, and the coming season features 10 concerts between September and May. We have theme nights, including the annual Alberta Night, twin bills, and a focus on Indigenous performers for the coming year.
Artists booked are exceptional and original musicians, of which 90% are Canadian. Our primary venue is the beautiful Strathcona Community Centre in Southwest Calgary, and we also use the Bella Concert Hall at the Mount Royal Conservatory as well as the Ironwood Stage & Grill.
