An installation at Jarvis Hall Gallery

Jarvis Hall Gallery

Founded in 2010, Jarvis Hall Gallery (JHG) represents a dynamic roster of emerging, mid-career, and established artists from across North America.

The gallery is committed to supporting the practice of contemporary Canadian artists to foster a deeper understanding of their creative processes. JHG works tirelessly with institutions, corporations, consultants and collectors to create symbiotic and sustaining relations between collectors and artists.

At JHG we firmly believe the time is ripe to ensure gender parity as criteria for artist representation within our commercial setting. JHG will consciously maintain this balance of equality between genders while striving to ensure artists are best supported to create work on a basis of quality. We are aware that as a small gallery, the roster is constantly evolving and the balance may tip however, we are moving forward with a consciousness to ensure these values are at fore of our vision at all times.

Jarvis and Shannon work together in a dynamic collaboration and bring to the gallery a collective insight of 35 years, working to support the arts community of Calgary. They are strong advocates for contemporary visual culture and sit on numerous boards, committees and organizations. The gallery is dedicated to making an impact locally, nationally, and internationally.

Jarvis Hall Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada.

Original works of art, fine art multiples, photographs, and artifacts require professional framing techniques which Jarvis Hall has been practicing for the past 28 years.

At Jarvis Hall Gallery + Fine Frames we have found multiple solutions for the mounting and framing of artwork on canvas, paper and historical documents. We use archival materials in all of our framing projects. Thousands of pieces have crossed Jarvis and Janine’s fitting table over their combined 35 years of fine art framing.
