Kiran Rai or “KRAI” is a Punjabi-Canadian artist from Calgary, Alberta. As a multidisciplinary artist, she has obtained both a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Calgary.

Focusing on the celebration of cultural and diasporic individuality, she shares the voice of minority and works to decolonize western frameworks of identity through exploring key social issues. She experiments with various mediums and subject matter, with her work being found in private collections around the world.
