Cultural Activation Fund: 2023 Results
The Cultural Activation Fund supports projects that align with civic partner and City of Calgary strategies, priority areas and initiatives such as Downtown Revitalization, Chinook Blast and Rise Up, and the Creative Economy Strategy. cSpace’s annual operating grant is also funded through the Cultural Activation Fund, as well as collaborations with other funders such as support for non-qualified donee applicants to the Rozsa Foundation Capstone Grant program. In 2023, additional funding was received from the City of Calgary to be allocated towards grants and sponsorships through the Rise Up Downtown Vibrancy program.

Rise Up Downtown Vibrancy Program
Rise Up invites individuals and organizations to propose creative projects, events and programs that will transform existing venues and spaces in the downtown area with the support of the RISE UP Downtown Vibrancy Program.
