Alberta Culture Days

My City Speaks To Me explores cSPACE King Edward

With hundreds of free, family-friendly events and activities taking place across the province, Alberta Culture Days celebrates the unique and interesting aspects of our culture.

Alberta Culture Days began in 2008 as a one-day event to recognize the value of Alberta’s arts and cultural communities. Since then, it has expanded into a vibrant, three-day, province-wide celebration that has helped inspire the creation of Culture Days—a pan-Canadian movement to raise awareness, accessibility, participation, and engagement of all Canadians in arts and culture.

Lanre Ajayi swung by cSPACE King Edward during this year’s celebration with My City Speaks To Me. A one-of-a-kind art hub, Ajayi explored the space, captured the festivities, and shared his own connection to the building.

“cSPACE King Edward has a very unique story that is linked to my own story, especially in regards to My City Speaks To Me,” he explains.

Tune in to hear this personal story, learn more about the celebrations, and meet some of the organizations and artists that make cSPACE King Edward their home.
