Episode 1
Featuring Patti Pon, Shona Rae, and Krizia Canvas
As a salute to the thousands of Calgarians who are living creative lives, Calgary Arts Development has launched a new web series to celebrate creative living in our city.
Each episode highlights Calgarians manifesting their creativity in different ways, through different mediums and genres, throughout the city, by asking how do you live a creative life?
“People are leaning on the arts now more than ever during the pandemic,” says Calgary Arts Development President and CEO Patti Pon. “Whether it’s someone picking up an old guitar they haven’t played for years, picking up a paintbrush for the first time, or taking an online class, more and more of us are expressing ourselves in creative ways. We are celebrating the many ways Calgarians live creative lives and sharing their stories through this new web series.”
The first episode features Calgary Arts Development President & CEO Patti Pon, local sculptor Shona Rae, and mental health nurse and spoken word artist Krizia Canvas.
