Episode 29

Featuring members of the cultural instigators

This city is bursting with creativity! Each month, Adora Nwofor sits down with some amazing Calgary creatives and gets a behind-the-scenes look at their process.

This month, a group of cultural instigators invite artists to explore and work towards achieving an anti-racist Mohkínsstsisi (Calgary) and arts sector through the various spirals that construct the group — the Black-led spiral, the Indigenous-led spiral, the POC-led spiral. Learn more in this video from the group’s recent event, The Grappling: Bringing Power to Truth.

All this on Living a Creative Life — be sure to tune in at 3:00pm on June 28, 2022, for the premiere.

How do you live creatively? If you have a creative story or a project to feature or know a talented person we should talk to, email submissions@calgaryartsdevelopment.com or tag your posts with #yycLCL on social media.

Also, we want to see your time-lapse videos of your projects from beginning to end. So, set up your cameras and get to it.

We’d love to feature them on a future episode!
