Artist2Artist Admin Work Café
ARTIST2ARTIST Admin Work Café is a place for artists and arts administrators to connect and grow their business, administrative efficiency and opportunities for partnerships. This is also a great space to connect with the grantors at Calgary Arts Development.
Alcove Centre for the Arts is hosting this registered series four (4) times this year (May, July, September and November 2024) in collaboration with Calgary Arts Development. Each session will include a talk around topics relating to navigating negotiations, accounting, grant writing, conflict resolution, how to access galleries and more! It will conclude with dedicated work time where there will be support for what you are working on.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Pay what you can: $5 – $15.
Session 1: May 26, 2024
- 2:30pm: Doors
- 3pm – 4:30pm: Artist2Artist Talk & interactive activity
- 4:30pm – 5pm: Snack break/mingle time
- 5pm – 11:30pm: Arts Admin Work Session — a supportive workspace for artists to get administrative work done!
Bring your devices and notebooks, and apply what was learned during the talk to your work — submit those grants, send those invoices and finish planning for upcoming gigs!
