Streaming 101 Demonstration
During these interesting times, many artists and arts groups are looking to move some of their content online. But not everyone has someone on staff to navigate the first steps to get content online, and sort between the different options that are out there.
Calgary Arts Development is offering free online demonstrations to help people navigate the online space.
The demonstration is a very basic survey of what streaming platforms are available to you for use, and an introduction to OBS Studio—the free software that is powering many people’s first steps into creating more compelling designed experiences than just another online meeting.
All that is required is a computer that can connect to one of those online meetings, hosted on Zoom. All demonstrations are 30 minutes with open time afterwards for discussion and questions.
